Chainlink and Apex Group Pilot Institutional-Grade Stablecoin Infrastructure in Bermuda
Chainlink and Apex Group have successfully completed a pilot for institutional-grade stablecoin infrastructure in Bermuda, in collaboration with the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA). The initiative, part of the BMA's Innovation Hub, aims to modernize supervisory oversight in the digital asset space.
The partnership seeks to establish a unified, compliant stablecoin framework, supporting the BMA’s Embedded Supervision Initiative. This model integrates compliance and reporting logic directly into protocols, reducing manual oversight and enabling continuous monitoring of stablecoin collateral and circulation.
The BMA, which oversees Bermuda’s financial sector, has listed the joint pilot with chainlink Labs, Hacken, Bluprynt, and Apex on its website. The goal is real-time, regulator-grade monitoring across legal, operational, and technical layers.
